Beaujolais announces summer promotions

Inter Beaujolais has announced a summer of promotional activities for the region. 

 

The campaign kicks off in June with a stand at the Taste Festivals in London and Dublin followed by the Foodies Festival in Tatton Park culminating in BBC Good Food in Scotland in the Autumn.  Wines from all 12 Beaujolais appellations, including Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages white and rosé, will be sampled.  Masterclasses will be offered either on the stand or in the official theatres. 

 

The fifth annual press & trade tasting will take place at the Westbury Hotel in London on Thursday, 26th June from 11am to 7.30pm. The latest vintage will be sampled alongside a range of white and rosé Beaujolais.  A number of older vintages will also be shown, with a special focus on lieux-dits in the region.

 

Anthony Collet, Marketing & Communication Manager for Inter Beaujolais, commented, “The food festivals work really well for us – everyone is familiar with the region and through these events we can introduce and promote the different appellations. We anticipate that we will sample over 150,000 consumers in the next few months.”

 

The summer campaign is supported by additional activities including press trips to the region, educational masterclasses for store staff around the country, the Three Wine Men fairs and social media.
